Hmmmmm, how come the Engie and Sniper look gormless when ze Heacy gets Ubered? Haven't they ever seen an Uberchare before?

  2. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 1:24 pm

Do I even dare? It's too much to resist, unless you are somehow using "Heacy" as a pun, or "Uberchare" as a German accent…

  3. Vabolo on June 24th, 2011 11:21 pm

No authorization required. All Hammers are go.

  4. quaker171 on June 26th, 2011 1:52 pm

    CHARGE!
    *What is gormless?, Heavy, Ubercharge

  5. CriticalQuit on June 24th, 2011 1:27 pm

This is the invention of the Ubercharge. Prototype medigun.

  7. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 1:22 pm

Picture is malfunctioning. It needs a Medic
    EDIT: It is better now!

  8. PortalMan118 on June 24th, 2011 11:37 pm

FINALLY!! THE DOC…HAS COME BACK…..TO HALOLZ!!!!!!!

  9. CriticalQuit on June 24th, 2011 12:09 pm

    There is only one aspect to the Pyro's personality;

    BURN. EVERYTHING.

  10. Zyquux on June 24th, 2011 5:57 pm

Don't forget the leprechaun in the corner of your peripheral vision that whispers in your ear.

  11. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 1:08 pm

They'll track IP addresses to make sure the players only get one account each, then, if someone hacks, they will be banned and never get to play again.

  12. EonofAeon on June 24th, 2011 2:57 pm

You don't know how IP addresses work then. They can easily change their IP if they try hard enough and/or know how…..
Not only that, if multiple family members play, they'll usually share the same IP, and sometimes even certain groups of houses/AKA certain 'areas' share IP addresses.
Then there's the whole 'dynamic vs statis' IP issue….
IP tracking is a good idea, but when it comes to games….it's mostly been done to bad effect. If you can find me a significantly popular and/or well known game that did IP bans EFFECTIVELY…I'm all ears.

    The Quick Fix
    Medigun Prototype
Ubercharge increases healing rate by 300% etc. etc.

Go look at the uber update and see that Medigun Prototype is the weapon type for the Quick Fix

  16. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 3:05 pm

I haven't been on TF2 for a few days, so I did not know that. Thank you, good sir! I assumed it was still in the beta.

  17. octochan on June 24th, 2011 2:08 pm

So, the Medic wears gloves and his labcoat for battle, but not for surgery?

  18. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 3:04 pm

Yes. He does so to keep his hands free of the diseases battle brings so he is clean for surgery.

  19. octochan on June 24th, 2011 10:26 pm

My theory is that for him fighting is BUSINESS, while messing around with people's innards is a HOBBY, and he dresses accordingly.

  20. LawrenceFriday on June 24th, 2011 11:47 pm

Of course not! Then they would get dirty!

  21. Combatbeaver on June 24th, 2011 2:13 pm

hm… i just noticed that the medigun also sows the heavy's vest back too…handy…

  22. ProfessorLuigi on June 24th, 2011 3:32 pm

Maybe the medic took up instanteous sowing as his other hobby.

  23. Ryu_Bonkosi on June 25th, 2011 6:57 pm

    CLOTHES BEAM!

  24. Fawful on June 24th, 2011 3:51 pm

    Wait a moment.
If the Medic has to cut open the chest of his patient to put in the "uber valve" on his/her heart…
And he did this to everyone on his team…
    This means…

The Medic is one of the few, possibly the only one, that knows the true gender of the Pyro.

  25. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 3:51 pm

    <img src=http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS6uyTr0719JLPDMxYe1pqf1HU1J4bdrIZEMVe9NVCNFVBtZsadZw>

  26. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 7:40 pm

Also, can't be the only one. What about the Pyro? What about the Pyro's family? Friends from school? Where are they? Do they know? Does the Pyro have friends? WE NEED ANSWERS, PEOPLE!

  27. Ataeru on June 24th, 2011 4:26 pm

    That was Epic, simply put.

  28. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 4:56 pm

Who is the person standing in the window at 0:56? Is that a soldier at solute? Or the Administrator?

  29. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 7:35 pm

Because no demoman worth his sulfur keeps an eye past 30!

  30. Paulrus-Keaton? on June 24th, 2011 8:15 pm

The Medic is now 20% more badass. Or insane. One would use the words interchangeably.

  31. quaker171 on June 24th, 2011 7:59 pm

    He's not the only one.
    <img src=http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcS6mutzFAH5DDJye4UQK2hLQIAZkI8RfVl_EyNNdIR9Oef4YDIe>

  32. PortalMan118 on June 24th, 2011 10:23 pm

The sad part is that Heavy only had a cold.

  33. benderman on June 25th, 2011 4:37 pm

correction, there are 3 bullet holes in his vest.

  34. Zyquux on June 26th, 2011 1:47 am

It was a REALLY bad cold.

  35. quaker171 on June 26th, 2011 1:48 pm

    Medic: Gesundheit!

  36. LawrenceFriday on June 24th, 2011 11:47 pm

The Medic thinks it's funnier this way.

  37. Artakha on June 24th, 2011 11:55 pm

And that's how 50% of the players on TF2 decided to only play Medic that day. After that, it went back down to the usual 5%.

  38. deathbychickens on June 25th, 2011 1:13 am

so…you guys all have fun paying for tf2…..now that its free?

  39. quaker171 on June 26th, 2011 1:50 pm

We have the premium. We have access to all weapons. Free players only have what is available to the standards and the achievement weaponry, as well as no hats.

  40. sailoryue on June 25th, 2011 1:39 am

isnt MEdic suposed to be uberized too?

  41. quaker171 on June 26th, 2011 1:49 pm

Actually, with the quick fix, there is no ubering. Just faster healing.

  42. ProfessorLuigi on July 9th, 2011 11:32 am

According to valve, at one point the quick fix did have an uber, but it shorted out after meet the medic happened.

  43. quaker171 on August 6th, 2011 8:52 pm

Also, the Medic didn't have an uber-able heart

  44. sailoryue on June 25th, 2011 1:40 am

maybe it only fixes RECENT injurries? when did Demo lose his eye?

  45. quaker171 on June 26th, 2011 1:58 pm

He lost it when he tried to blow up the Loch Ness Monster, which cost him his original set of adoptive parents and an eye. He was 8, if I recall correctly.

  46. IcyNudibranch on June 25th, 2011 2:45 pm

Now we all know why the Medic lost his doctor's license. He completely deserved that punishment.

  47. vash_ts on June 26th, 2011 9:11 am

hey, besides the sniper rule: be polite….
do any of you have a good recomendation for a guy that will start his career in TF2?

  48. quaker171 on June 26th, 2011 12:46 pm

Try some offline practice with the bots, read the tips and strategies from the tf2 wiki, and develop a class specialty. Besides the one class, make sure you are good with a class that could be essential, such as a Medic or Engineer. Pyros are a good idea as well. Do not try to overdevelop only one class; instead, diversify and become a jack of all trades, with one or two specialties. Do not ragequit, just change a class in times of trouble.
    Strategies are found here:
    Scout: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Scout_strategy
    Soldier: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Soldier_strategy
    Pyro: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Pyro_strategy
    Demoman: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Demoman_strategy
    Heavy: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Heavy_strategy
    Engineer: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Engineer_strategy
    Medic: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Medic_strategy
    Sniper: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Sniper_strategy
    Spy: http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Spy_strategy

  49. quaker171 on June 26th, 2011 1:56 pm

But… but… how would the Pyro pee? Wouldn't it know? If it's a robot, does it check it's oil gauge? Who built it? Was it the Engineer? Does that explain how the Pyro obtained the Engineer's other glove?

  50. quaker171 on June 27th, 2011 2:26 am

Not a problem, man, I look forward to facing you on the fields of Dustbowl.

  51. vash_ts on June 27th, 2011 12:43 pm

  52. quaker171 on June 28th, 2011 2:25 pm
